Dawn Rochelle is a producer, writer, and model/actress  with a career spanning over 40 years. She is best known for creating sun soaked glamorous television and live event programming in the fashion and entertainment industries. Most notably her television series “Miss Bikini Backstage”  which is licensed by Amazon Prime, Tubi and Fawesome in over 95 countries. She is the creative force behind the Miss Bikini® brand, and the executive producer of one of the most anticipated runway shows at Miami Swim Week.

She is the creator/writer/producer behind the soap opera drama series Ventura Shores, a glossy television series about fashion, power, family, and fame in a Southern California beach town.

Dawn’s love of storytelling began long before Hollywood. Raised in a family rich with history, she credits her grandmother, who was a descendant of the Cherokee nation and the unofficial historian of the family, as her first and greatest storyteller. Dawn listened as her grandmother brought generations to life through vivid stories, humor, and wisdom. Those moments planted the seeds for Dawn’s lifelong passion for character-driven storytelling.

Dawn began her career as an in-demand model, landing national and international campaigns for major brands including Catalina Swimwear,  Pepsi, Body Glove, Australian Gold, MissMe Denim and others.

Her on-camera work also includes acting roles in films “Three Days to a Kill”, “Keys to Tulsa” and on iconic television series such as “Walker, Texas Ranger” and “Dallas”.

Dawn recently launched the podcast “Pretty Amped”, alongside her husband, rock guitarist Dave Bates, where the two explore music, film, pop culture, and interviews with their celebrity friends about life behind the scenes of entertainment.

Dawn enjoys working directly with talent through her company Warner Models and has helped cast talent for most major television networks including Mtv, ABC, CBS, VH1, Oxygen, FOX and brands including Ferrari, Kate Spade, Malibu Rum and more. She hosts model and acting camps designed to develop the next generation of models and actors. Her hands-on approach reflects a commitment to mentorship and talent development within the industry.
